Laura Dark is an award-winning, internationally recognized conceptual and portrait photographer with nearly 30 years of experience. A Certified Professional Photographer and Master of Photography through the PPA, she is known for creating striking, imaginative imagery that transforms her clients into works of art.
Her work has earned numerous honors, including 2023 Photographer of the Year, Fine Art Photographer of the Year, and United States Photographer of the Year from OneEyeland, along with the 2024 WeddingRule Editor’s Choice Award for Boudoir Photography. She was also a runner-up on The Creator Series, a photography reality show hosted by Sal Cincotta.
Based in a 2,600 sq. ft. boutique studio near Columbus, Ohio, Laura offers a full luxury experience including hair, makeup, wardrobe, and expert posing, serving clients from around the world.
About Robyn Randall
Robyn Randall joined Laura Dark Photography over ten years ago and has become the backbone of the studio’s daily operations. As Studio Manager, she masters every detail, from the moment a client inquiry lands in our inbox to the moment their images are safely delivered. Her commitment to seamless service ensures each session runs like clockwork and every client feels seen, supported, and excited.
After stepping into her management role, Robyn was personally trained by Laura in second-shooting. That experience sharpened her eye for dynamic angles, lighting shifts and the moments others might miss. She still steps behind the camera as a second shooter when the schedule calls for it, bringing an intuitive and expressive presence that adds depth to our work.
Today, Robyn directs the booking workflow with precision and warmth, coordinating client communication, scheduling, studio logistics, and on-set rhythm. Her knack for organization, coupled with her genuine care for our clients’ experiences, makes her indispensable to the creative process and the studio’s reputation for excellence.

About The Studio
Discover the perfect canvas for your photography masterpieces at our 2600 square foot full boutique studio. Designed with meticulous attention to detail, our studio offers an array of features to elevate your photography experience.
The 2,600 sq. ft. studio is designed for both comfort and creative freedom, featuring 10-foot ceilings, a full blowout salon with two styling stations, two restrooms and changing rooms, and a comfortable client sitting area with a stylish couch. The expansive layout allows for seamless shooting and easy transitions, making it ideal for a wide range of photography sessions.
The studio offers six distinctive sets—including the Blue Parlor, Red Parlor, Flower Wall, Boudoir set, BDSM set, and Headshot Wall—along with access to 80 scenic backgrounds, colorful seamless papers, and a black curtain wall. For an additional fee, photographers can upgrade with a professional lighting kit featuring five 300W strobes, modifiers, gels, and atmospheric effects, as well as exclusive extras such as fairy, angel, or bat wings and an extensive wardrobe collection of gowns, corsets, wigs, accessories, and props.
