Conceptual portrait sessions begin with an idea, emotion, character, color palette, or story. Laura turns that starting point into a visual plan using lighting, sets, backgrounds, props, posing, and detailed post-production. Clients can arrive with a fully developed vision or ask Laura to help shape one meaningful detail into personal artwork.
Sessions take place in Laura’s Groveport studio, with more than 100 backgrounds and multiple immersive sets available. Clients provide specific fashion, character, or conceptual clothing, while selected studio accessories and specialty pieces may be incorporated when appropriate. Classic and higher packages include one professional hair and makeup service per person, with additional styling and advanced editing available as add-ons.
No modeling experience is required. Laura provides complete direction for expression, hands, body placement, and movement while adapting the plan to the client’s comfort and mobility. The booking process establishes what can be created practically in the studio and what may require custom construction or additional compositing.

Do I need a complete concept before I book?
No. Bring a detailed plan, a reference image, a favorite character, a mood, or even one color. Laura can help develop that starting point into a portrait concept that fits you.
What should I bring?
Bring personal wardrobe, shoes, jewelry, props, and reference images that matter to the concept. The studio will confirm which backgrounds and accessories are available during planning.
Are special effects included?
Professional basic retouching is included. Advanced compositing, replacement elements, fire, water, wings, and other extreme effects may require upgraded editing.
