Been behind on updating!

If you have Facebook or Twitter, I suggest following me there because I’m not very good at updating on here for some reason! Lots of exciting things are happening. For one, it’s ALMOST HALLOWEEN! Which means, yup, halloween special time!!!
For $225 you get one INTENSE makeup or FX makeup look (appliances available at extra cost) and hair and 10 hi res images! (wardrobe not included) Payment plan available! Deposit of $50 required at booking!
Also I have a TON of publications I haven’t updated about so here are some Magazines to check out when you have time:

I also just found out I got an editorial picked up by one of the largest magazines in my part of the industry. Very exciting! I have worked with them in the past, but not to this capacity!

Laura Dark at Midwest Haunters Convention June 9th and 10th!

Laura Dark (along with most of TEAM DARK) will be at the Midwest Haunters Convention in Columbus, Ohio June 9th and 10th. We will have 2 booths and will have prints, posters, books, magazines, maganets, bumper stickers, t-shirts and more! Come out and say hi to us!

I’m slacking on updates! Sorry!

Things got CRAZY so I had no time to update, but my shoot specials are extended until June. So $150 for 1 look with hair and makeup ($50 non refundable deposit goes towards shoot package) and you get 5 hi res retouched images for print and web.
Also I have added a page to the website for Prayers for Alix Reese. Alix was an innocent victim of a driveby shooting in Columbus, Ohio. She is paralyzed from the neck down. The raffle will be held unti May 31st, 2012 at midnight. There are great prize packs from me so go check it out and donate!!
I have also realsed a new Into the Dark Magazine. This is my biannual portfolio magazine with all my favorite images from each quarter wrapped into one slick magazine.

See my “Morticia in the Grave” image at Gothic to Goth Exhibit at Allentown Museum of Art!

It was confirmed that an image I shot will be included in the Gothic to Goth: Embracing the Dark Side Exhibit at the Allentown Museum of Art in Allentown, PA! This image will hang along with the jewelry from Atelier Gothique who will be one of the main features in the exhibit.
Thanks to Atelier Gothique I can knock something off the old bucket list! <3

Laura Dark named Runner-Up for 2011 ModelMayhem.com’s Photographer of Year

ModelMayhem.com, the internets largest model and photographer community once again held their annual Photographer of the Year contest. In 2009 I was awarded first prize and title of Photographer of the Year. This year I was awarded the second place and the silver medal. It is an honor to be in the contest and to take second place in a community full of fabulous photographers! Thanks to ModelMayhem.com and everyone who voted for me.

I haven’t updated here forever. I’m bad. Lots of things have been going on so I guess I have an excuse. October once again was one of my biggest months for publication. Besides the ones posted below, I had several that had to be finished for publications this winter including 2 more covers and 4 editorials that I am still working on.
This October however, I had the cover of Tattoos Only come out:

I have also decided that I will be setting up a table at HorrorHound Columbus 2012 this year, as well as Midwest Haunters Convention 2012. I will be attending Haunt Con this year as well to support my fellow haunters. I am also working with Sick-Apparel on a full t-shirt line using my images and some ideas that Shawn has. Also going to be doing more with bands in the next few months. 2012 is well on the way to being a fun and productive year! <3
